Forum Losing Momentum

This forum looks very gloomy with no activities for long stretches...think many have progressed to Facebook groups like SOCA, which is easier to access and post...does this forum have a Facebook group? if not, should it migrate to one? its sad and a pity to see this forum heading to a slow death...

Re: Where to buy Black Turtle

saw black turtle at H2 in Northpoint City with 20% discount, but already had a Padi Turtle which did not wear much due to small wrist. Instead bought the SNE493P1 from watch studio largely because of the 30+% discount, and also it sits better on my small wrist and looks very chio imo.

Re: Photography

you should try camera shops than big electronic shops...i prefer MS Color at Ang Mo Kio, the main shop beside food court, not the one inside shopping centre. they have a very wide range, the people are knowledgeable, friendly and not pushy. i think their discount are also better than big electronic ...

Re: Photography

Nice! this is my favourite! :D I've considered the 17mm & 20mm but the 17mm does not have shallow dof and 20mm may have banding when used with EM10. i don't have much feel for a 17mm but is planning a wide angle, either a 12mm or 12-40mm pro. am leaning towards the 12-40 pro, as its only $140 more ...

Free lens offer is over liao. yup, its around there. but promo with free 45mm lens is only during SITEX over the last wkend. t...

Re: Photography

ya, the cam seems to be easy to MF even at f1.2, really like the EVF. I think I bought the cam partly because I asked for the (external) EVF4 price, it cost about $400, might as well get a cam with a built in EVF. Thinking hard to rationalise my purchase  yup...the EVF is great, fast and shows...

Re: Photography

most cams should be ok as they are widely sold on Europe, unless its extreme. but Helsinki's temperature can go down to around -30 in winter from Dec-Feb, even lower in regions further North. bring extra batteries as they deplete faster in cold weather.
