Did consider this Orient Star GMT initially, but did not quite like the internal GMT bezel. So got the Seiko Sportura Kinetic GMT model instead.

At long last, I managed to see the "CHRONOMETER" wording on a Japanese timepiece.
This is what I call a "GENERATION TIMEPIECE".

Recently bought a Samsung UA40HU7000K TV with a resolution of 3840 x 2160. It is connected via a Starhub cable vision box. But found out that the max resolution is only 1920 x 1080 (FHD). OK, let us compare a Royal Orient (RO) with a GS. What r your comments?

I think if SEIKO could put the word "CHRONOMETER" onto the faces of their GS maybe it would help to market the range better.
But I did read in a past article somewhere that the Japanese are not permitted to do that. Am I correct?

Good straps, a bit stiff but they are not cheap.

I checked this website on the ROYAL ORIENT but not much write-up on this subject.
Anybody knows whether BIGTIME carries it.
Can this be compared to the Seiko GS range?
Need some advice from you brothers out there. Worth getting it?
