not sure if anyone mentioned this, but the "Welcome to 'seiko club sg'" email is sent out using bro roo7 personal gmail? Might want to register a more generic email address to send out the welcome email?

Just my suggestion

Yah, I'm monitoring it, as the host do not restrict me on the bandwidth but it's hosted in US, not sure if it's due to my lowest price plan..

1 thing for sure, there are a few incidents where the server is totally unreachable, although the status page from the provider shows ok.

My blog is hosted on the same server too, when it's sluggish, both forums and blogs are affected. I will probably write to the customer service to probe a little :|

Thanks, I didn't realised that. It's changed already.

Is it possible to open a new browser window when we click on a link someone posted? Like in the old hwz. This way we don't hv to re open seikoclubsg again.

Just a trivial suggestion.

just like to know, for sellers/buyers after posting in garage section. user cannot post any more reply right? this is because i can't locate the post reply button. also user cannot edit the post. this i understand

situation such as wanting to update the thread is no longer available. what is user wants to add in additional information. what can the user do.

feedback under garage section may want to be renamed so as to avoid confusion. this is because there is 2 types of feedback. one for buyer/seller another for forum. these two categories placement is close. can lead to new user being confused.

hosting on us server must be careful. especially when there is outage. you may want to provide your contact number to trusted few members especially the moderators to help you monitor and contact you when there is outage.

this is to minimize the downtime of the forum.

Hi Triton,

Thanks for all your feedbacks, I really appreciate it.

Now for the buy/sell section is for members with more than 10 posts, somehow the permission wasn't configured correctly, so the newly registered like you managed to post yesterday and earlier. :)

I got it fixed but I won't want to delete those threads, so I leaving them there till the member reaches enough post count to enjoy the buy/sell privileges.

As for the feedback forum, now that I look at it from the main index, it is really confusing  Will do something about it.

As for hosting in US, I'm still monitoring it, the first few days was really choppy, somehow the server is kinda going up and down, the forum and my blog is hosted with A Small Orange, I'm very pleased with their package, service and support response.

If there's any more outage, I will definitely take it up with them.

Thanks again for the feedback and advise, hope you enjoy the forums here

Think there's another short outage earlier, but their stats didn't show. Gotta monitor carefully.

Font size can manually adjusted at the top of the page above the log out text. :)

When replying with the quote function, is it possible for the system to include only the latest/last quote instead of all quotes in the msg?

Hmm this I gotta check. So far I haven't seen an option to do so, perhaps a mod can do that or a code tweak will take a look.

Hmm it doesn't automatically remove the nested quotes, you have to remove it manually.. hmmm need more tweaking..
