Re: WRUW 30 Aug
This is one petit yet touch nut to crack! I gave one to my mum, same dial color, some numbers of years ago... hmm... 11? Or 12? years for her to wear it to work. From factory, to now as a cleaner in offices, never failed to tell her the time exactly, although the time discrepancy ranges from -5 to +30secs periodically. Such discrepancies can be rectified by placing/resting the watch totally flat face down or up, or by side.Andoy wrote:Good Sunday morning SC+65!
To date... it never went through any servicing, even though the matte bracelet had turned shiny, the face glass had turned... with lots of "wrinkles".
My batch have the Seiko 5 logo laser marked on the glass bottom @ 6. A keeper if yours is one.

Re: WRUW 30 Aug
Greetings Bro and thanks for the nice comments and a bit of history behind the watch. For sure she will be a keeper. I got her if I remember correctly sometime between 1998-1999 at Bras Basah Complex. I think the shop still there. Got it for what? $80 back then, not so sure. And me being such a blockhead, I lost the box and papers. Yes, no need for servicing and up to this time is reliable. Yes again about the Seiko 5 logo @ 6pm. Cheers Bro!Ed.YEO wrote:This is one petit yet touch nut to crack! I gave one to my mum, same dial color, some numbers of years ago... hmm... 11? Or 12? years for her to wear it to work.
