Retrograde day @ 2.5
date subdial @ 6
24hr @ 9
U noticed the crown at 2? This is to adjust the independent hr hand in one hr increment (fwd and backwards).
Now pic shows SG time:
Example, I want to visit Roo in Melb, which is 2hr ahead of SG. I will pull out the 2 o'clock crown to adjust the hr hand. The retrograde day dis-engages to protect the retrograde mech.
I turn to increment 2 steps of the hr hand and press back the crown. The day shows back Thu and the new time reads melb time.
But the 24 hr subdial is still pointing to local SG time. This functions as your gmt hand.
So I will always know what time it is back home. While I can read my watch as per normal while in melb.
When I go back to SG, I'll just do the same but step the hr hand back 2 times.
If I cross to a country where the time is a day ahead it behind, the day and date will reflect accordingly as the hr hand moves past midnight.
There is also quickset day and date, if u r at month end.
Neat little calibre this 4s27.
It's 28,800bph too!

Very well thought out movement, I like how the retrograde disengages when setting the independent hour hand.big-e-294 wrote:Still on this sexy piece.
