Any reliable servicer for Quartz watches in SG?

Hi all, i did the forum search and couldn't find any info on this. Is there any reliable or recommended quartz watch servicer in Singapore? K2 Uncle Goh say he doesn't really service quartz(Seiko 7A28) so I am trying to find someone who can. any help is appreciated of course :) cheers

hope thong sia is not the only option. anyone use any overseas quartz servicers before? thanks

If all else fails, buy a working watch off ebay and transplant the movement.

which model is it?

Seriously there's not much you can svc in a quartz movement.

Change battery, the watch makers will clean up the contacts only.

Some parts like coil, crystal ,motor are subjected to availability.

Most watchmakers dun keep much quartz movement parts let alone quartz movement. simply bcos its tedious to change n breakdown rate is lower.

All these mentioned factors boil down to money. Not easy to charge a reasonable amount compare to mech watch svcing. so wat for go into this field.

Not sure about seiko. But I have tried to service a more than 10 years old quartz chronograph watch before, no small shop would do it. At most change battery and clean a bit nia. Ultimately had to send back to manufacturer for full service and repair as it was not working properly. Cost was around S$300...for a hammy

was crazy busy this past week. thanks for the replies guys.

looks like it's not an easy resolution for it.

fyi its a seiko 7a28 movement that i'm looking at. cheers
