Just a noob question...

Do you all peel off the blue sticker behind the watch before wearing it?

Wondering if it makes any difference or is it of any significance with and without the sticker?

With sticker add $1 value to your watch.

Heard if unpeeled and worn frequently, the sticker will "integrate" with the caseback...
Not as active.

Just a noob question...

Post by balzebub71 » 02 Jan 2015 12:53

Eh I always peel it off...eventually it's going to peel off anyway especially if you sweat or actually swim/shower with the watch on. Rather do it when new and clean then wait till it gets dirt and gunk trapped under it.

Off topic but I am always amazed by used Rolex with the side and case back stickers still intact... Even when it is several years old..

Here's mine, stucked for 6 months or more. The blue layer has mostly disintegrated.

ooo thanks all for the replies... yea I also fear it will become "integrated" then difficult to peel... seems pretty insignificant to have it on...

Its easy to peel. Just rub alcohol or lighter fluid and it will come out.

I leave the blue sticker intact for as long as I can for storage only.

Still can peel off. It just turn into a more clear transparent as the blue disintegrate further. I'll it on until it naturally dropped off.

Lol. First world problem.
Heng no red sticker.... Red or blue matrix style.

I usually peel off unless I'm never going to wear it. Just a personal preference.

It's like a piece of dead skin dangling... After awhile you can't resist but just to peel it off

Peel. Sweat, dirt and dust accumulate. You'll be wearing germs on your wrist if the sticker is on too long.

I am ashamed to say I have yet to remove the case back sticker from my exp2 and subND...somehow the plain case back makes me unwilling to scratch them..
