Sometimes the need to swap out the bracelet for that vintage leather strap just makes the whole wrist time more fulfilling.
More often than not, we have more straps than watches. Herein lies the problem. When we don't use the strap and it is being kept for too long. Mould, crackling, stiffening of leather spoils that $1xx leather strap that we bought. Sometime too much water gets onto our leather strap when we wash out hands.
I chanced upon the Dicon leather strap cream. Coat it on one of my beloved hand made raw leather strap. See process below:

Notice the Color darkens after coating? The Color will revert back to its original Color after it dries.
I like how it protects and moisturised the strap to give it a soft supple texture.
The result:
A trip to Port of lost wonder @ Sentosa! Yes! It was soaked in the pool for half a day. After I air dry the strap. The smell of leather was still there. The leather was well protected and the chlorine did not degenerate the strap.
If we can spend $$$ on our watches and buy expensive straps to go with it. Why not spend $29.90 to protect all our straps. So that we can have the vintage leather strap longer.
