Note that it has a date window magnifier. Not the same as the normal Sumo which has a uniform crystal.

That's why seiko can release limited ed in thailand. Wish that there are more seiko buggers in sg then we can ask for sg edition. :D

That's true indeed. Think we can possibly move only 200~250 pieces only. Max 300. :(

At such a rate, it would have to be a high-end Seiko model in the Marine Master range at least to be worthwhile though. And such models will further diminish the demand!!! ( *irony*)

And possibly it is also the brand cache of Seiko in Thailand. Where its considered a highly desirable brand, and thus big retailers such this Duty Free chain in Thailand are willing to underwrite the costs of doing a limited run, exclusive model.

If say Sincere Watches / Hour Glass or some retail giant ( Not Fairprice of course) in SG is willing to underwrite the costs of doing a limited run model in SG, I'm sure Thong Siah would be quite willing to coordinate it for them.
For what I recall, Sincere has done some super exclusive limited edition stuff with the European / Swiss brands before for their anniversary celebrations. But those are like 7 $$$ figure watches !
