Thinking of getting my first Seiko

Post by doinkydoink » 08 Dec 2012 20:27

Anyone has advise where to get the BFK on bracelet? K2?

Is there automatic alternative?

Was tempted by the Sumo but the font on the bezel is not to my liking.

Can also consider the MM300 if budget is not a concern.

The Sumo is a value for money watch. :)

Thanks! Been lurking for a few months and finally decide to maybe take the plunge.

Have molested the sumo at Vivo but the font just a bit to loud. Maybe one option is to get a used one and change the bezel insert. Anyone has gone through that route?

Plastic are the root of all evil!
I think is better for me to work towards 10 posts to gain access to the market instead.

set a budget and get what your money will buy. You will not be disappointed. Seiko out performs the competition at any price point.

I agree , when a Seiko watch is compared to another watch of the same price point the Seiko is a better performing / quality watch .
Then you have the Grand Seiko / Credor line up , designed to place Seiko firmly in the high end luxury watch market , Seiko certainly make exellent Japanese watches .

Thanks for all the input. Guess I will go for the BFK and slowly save up for a MM300 which probably be forever as there's other higher priorities.
