Seiko 7002 - 7000 Modding Options

Hi all gurus,

new here and just won an auction for my first Seiko! It's an impulse bidding I admit but well payment made and watch on it's way here so might as well make it work. I am thinking of modding this watch. I have seen some nice dials and hands from yobokies and 10watches. They told me that it's able to fit this watch with some modifications to the dial. I was wondering if anyone in SG able to do this competently.

1) Change dial, hands and crystal
2) Full servicing on the movement. Hope to get some watch resistance back. It's kind of crappy if I can't wash my hands or swim with a diver's watch right :X
3) Bead blasting on the case

Any guys went down this road before with this watch can I know a rough cost?

not sure about no. 3 but im pretty sure K2 - Mr Goh should be able to fulfill ur 1 n 2

Just source for parts, that same few sellers, then bring to any competent watchmaker to assemble

Just ordered the parts. Once here I will send it down to K2 for servicing and assemble. Hopefully K2 will be able to help me able to swim in this watch :X

Sure thing bro. Just ordered the dial, hands, bezel insert and sapphire crystal. :X
