Wah... fall off from my chair.... sexpensive than the old one.... I actually prefer the old one.... probably different SD calibre so the price up..... :?:

Why not a fan of SD? Care to share your thought?

No problem with old fashion.... me 2 but must still open to others mah......

IMO.... SD is a breakthrough in watchmaking..... and the way to go for the generation to come and certainty more so in mechanical accuracy department!

But I prefer not to have electronic components in my watches. If the watch fail, I won't kah-lang-kah-bote. Just send it to Ah Goh.

Electronic components got certain lifespan. Just like Kinetic watches. The capacitor fail within a few years.

IMHO, the electronics used in high end watches are of high grade type, not so ez to break down huan.

Ya, it depends on luck sometimes. Same with other electronic stuff like laptop, harddisk drive, etc.

Expected ans.... you are not alone.... my theory is dat if the whole watch is consist of electronic components entirely.... chance of failure will be high.... look at tuning fork.... still going strong..... the trick lie in the minimal usage of the electronic component..... perhaps SD will still be going strong after we are gone.... but do agreed with u and will pound to have some failure or more like degrading but the watch will still be moving.....
