Yobokies' Black DLC Sardine Shroud

I guess the confidence level on the shroud product has been discounted.

In summary, i think for stainless steel shroud, its OK to purchase. Maybe some trimming to own liking is needed.
For the DLC shroud, think better stay away.

I have yet to decide what to do... Had file complaint with yobokies ..... no response yet.

yobokies shd have just asked his factory to change the specs instead of continuing to sell them........

For me, i actually did ask him whether he did take provision for the DLC coating and also reminded him to machining the shroud for more tolerance.
He should have check it first before selling/sending it.

Morever, its not a cheap parts !

the only items i've not had issues with are yobokies sapp xtal (touch wood!!)
his bezel inserts, dial, hands.. all have some small QC issues here and there (minor)
it wont be as heart pain if the prices aren't so high.

nowadays, i always think twice / thrice before i decide to undertake any mod projects.. its just too expensive.

Oh how can I forget the hammer bracelet!
The hammer bracelet is good the last two times I've bought it. No issue.

He should not sell the shroud knowing it has problem.

Sent the shroud back and got my refund.

Nett loss of 5 SGD for the postage. But at least no more trouble for why that darn thing doesn't fit well and the edges are so sharp and how to force it in.

Hi Guys, I managed to fit Harold's DLC Shroud onto my White Sardine without too much issues

It did require a bit of wiggling before I could line up the three holes for the screws....but no filing or modding of the shroud was needed

I did try to see if it would fit onto my other Sardine, which is the Limited Edition Bronze one with case that is black. Maybe its the additional black coating on the case, but I could not get the DLC shroud to slide down too much. I didn't dare to apply too much force for fear of damaging the coating on the watch.

Yup! Ordered 2 and only one fit. The other was way too tight to sit all the way in. Poor QC imo. But we have no choice .... still have to get from him and try our luck...

I managed to fit the DLC Shroud onto my Ltd End Bronze Sardine

Took a bit of wiggling..but no tools or modding was required
