First Impressions : Seiko Spirit Smart SBPY091

Post by balzebub71 » 03 Aug 2015 21:21

Ordered this from Rakuten the spirt smart SBPY091. Gift for my niece, had chance to handle it before wrapping it up.

Very solid and relatively heavy watch which was surprising. 39.5mm in diameter and 46mm lug to lug, 11mm thick with solar v175 movement. Case is nicely finished with brushed and polished services.

Dial is beautiful black/gray with hands that are half polished and half brushed for better visibility which is surprising at this price range and sapphire crystal is a plus. The black calf leather band is soft and is fitted with a deployment clasp which is another pleasent surprise.

Over all a classy chronograph that reminds me of some Tag huer and IWC chronographs.

Highly recommended for a classy versatile piece for office or casual wear.

Sbpy085.. Panda dial.. Only thing holding me back is the movement..find the 24hr subdial quite redundant
