Amy Winehouse's last album.. Supposedly she was recovering from her self-destructive habits and was working on an album.. I believe she got to 5 unpolished (raw studio sessions before producers, directors, and what not worked on a song) songs before she left us.. The album also includes other raw takes from her other famous songs "Tears dry on their own" and "Wake up alone" from her previous albums..
The album also comes with her rendition of "Girl from ipanema" if you think Diana Krall or Ella Fitzgerald got it right, wait till you hear Amy's.. It's the most delicious (yes, I believe it's the best word to describe it) song of the year (yes, the year).
I thought Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto is the best album of the year for me, but this one owns Mylo Xyloto, hands down.. Go ahead, make your day, you have my personal guarantee..
