I feel the standard drop a lot. the cheese cheong fan no longer smooth and the yam cake no longer have that yummy yam taste from years ago. honestly the 70cents mee fen from my place downstairs tasted better....

well it's cheapest food there. so cannot hiam lah. anyway if buying food there can try the you tiao 3 stores away at the corner. crispy yet not oily and best part is that it's always served hot. the butterfly is nice and not too sweet, perfect with coffee.

also if you're around for dinner there please try heng ki chicken rice. not hard to miss as it's always with a long queue and they serve their rice in their signature little blue bowl. their chill is also quite different from the common chicken rice stores. pardon my pic as taken from phone. they open only after 3pm

wah your shot confirm many years back. they no longer use the blue plate for the chicken but plastic ones liao... (not environmental friendly liao, but no choice i think washing dishes also cost money and time)

yes, it's my fav chicken rice stall still after so many years. still have that traditional old school taste. the queue usually consist of more 'senior citizen'... i think i growing old liao... :geek:

other than the satay bee hoon, the hokkien mee and the big pc style fried carrot cake also not bad. this 2 stalls are back to back at the end of 2 alleys. others are replicas!!! satay and bbq chick wings also of good standard, this 2 stalls are directly oppsite each other at the other end of the food court where the chwee kway is.
Looking for m/c ebc brake pads and k&n air filter, PM me.

shui jing pa also still at alexandra... but standard drop. maybe tasted better when it was at the old open air tiong bahru market... the oily is damn sinful but shiok.
