Singpost Item missing??

Post by lunarin79 » 27 Oct 2014 20:58

Ordered a bronze buckle for a friend and tracking states item was delivered on 17th Oct.

Which I did not receive.

Last week, Singpost then told me they will check on this matter and will get back to me. Just got a call from them and they told me Item was delivered as per system.

I said ' Yeah, but (nbcb) I did not receive the farking item!'

Then they told me to contact the seller and inform him and seller has to inform USPS.

And USPS will then contact Singpost about it and if it is considered missing, Singpost will then compensate Seller(??)

Compensate seller??

Why compensate seller than buyer??

And then the seller will pocket the additional funds if he is really being compensated?

WTH?

ANybody faces this issue with Singpost missing/misplaced item before?

You can inform ebay on non-receipt of item after 2 months and claim cost from buyer IIRC.

But tracking shows the item delivered......very difficult to dispute in ebay. I suppose no harm trying

I believe you can ask singpost to show you the receiving slip. If receive it should have a signature. Could be send to wrong unit.

The package does not requires signature on delivery, this is the problem..

I purchased the buckle from a chrono24 vendor, i had emailed the seller about it and seller is trying to rectify this matter from usps now.

I just got a gut feel that its Singpost's blunder

My paypal address has always been the same and i've received numerous packages w/o any issues. Signed delivery or non-signed.

Sigh

bought 2 pairs of jeans from asos on 26th Oct, got an email notification informing me item was despatched on 27th Oct.

Till date, no package.

Had bought several times from asos previously and I will usually receive item within 7-9 working days.

what is happening????

borrow this thread to ask...
I got a Hongkong post tracking number and went to HK Post website to check, it stated it left HK on 13/1/15.
How to check it has landed in SG?

Got a question for experts here... I bought a watch from a seller from eBay based in HK. Item shipped and he gave me a Singpost registered parcel tracking number. Shouldn't it be a HK post parcel tracking number instead?

What is the seller name in ebay? I assume he had a network of stock around asia hence he can just ship locally regardless of where he is based.

Well strangely it's because he used a 3rd party company to ship? So now I finally can see and it's been stuck at Singpost transshipment centre in SG since 17/1..hmm
