Stainless steel cubes hold the coldness longer i feel. My shot can be cold for around 20+mins but with stone, after 15min the shot is not cold liao.

I am hunting for Hibiki 17 years, anyone knows where I can find it locally?

I somehow feel that it is not quite worth now as the Japanese Whisky prices all like jacked up due to the awards. Almost double in the prices compare to 2 - 3 years ago.

It is so true, but I do not have any colleagues flying to Japan now... so I dun have any chances to grab one from Japan.

Just saw a Hakushu 12years selling at Giants at the price of 178.
Is the price OK?

by the way, is Japanese whisky (Yamazaki, Hibiki, Hakushu or Nikka) commonly found in DFS Singapore Airport?

My bro came back from Japan earlier this year. It is the prices there that double as well. I remember hibiki 17 was around 88 when I first gotten, now it is about 150 odd or more. All Suntory whisky doubled in price.

Some of the whisky are out of stock in Japan. My bro bought back Yamazaki 18 yr and the price was btw 150 - 200 I think.
