Well, I think I can and did do some polishing but for shiny surfaces. I dare not try brushed surfaces as I am afraid of creating a mirror finish instead.

So in there a method to do brushed finish? I mean scratches on brushed finished seems more obvious and can be quite distracting. To me at least.

I only dare to cape cod polished surfaces..brushed, satin surface I don't dare to touch. Although supposedly using a scratch pen works for those surfaces? Usually I just leave any scratch on non polished surface alone until I send said watch for full servicing...

I tried scratch pen. Don't go that route. Haha, it's just too difficult, it's like patching paint and it doesn't have the same shade with the rest.
