I don't think the GMT2c and DJ2 are "hot" in anyway right? The GMT2c is not new, with the first series being Z. The DJ2 is also a standard line... I'd be getting a GMT2c also, looking for a used Z series, aiming ~7k

quite a few leh, I think now on swx and sg-roc there are plenty under $5k. Doesn't mean that these are good buys though.

well,so u keen in the iconic Omega seamaster chronostop Aiken bro? :twisted:
That is certainly a nice to have watch in Omega line and lies between the Speedmaster,Memomatic and Seamaster divers.

For Omega Chronostop,2 calibres are begin used namely calibre 865 (dateless) and calibre 920 with 920 begin made in lesser quantity. (approximate figures; 920= 60,000 made & 865=120,000 made)

And for these 2 calibres,there are 4 different variation(with different dial colors each) of chronostop namely;

-Seamaster Chronostop with internal rotating bezel
Bezel crown is on left,right crown if for time adjust and push button for chrono function (large size version shown in above link),definitely cost the most,collectablity is as per collector(price concern perhaps).

-Seamaster Chronostop
No internal rotating bezell/crown. Just the normal crown and push button on right side. Larger than Geneve Chronostop.

-Geneve Chronostop
Another iconic geneva chronostop,smaller in size.Normal crown and push button on right side.I have this one. Most commonly seen but rarity varies for 865 and 920 cal.

-Driver's Chronostop
Wear it lke any vintage driver's watch on inner wrist.Collectible in some way but not sure how many will actually wear it outside,

Prices of these depends on the supply and definitely the large size seamaster chronostop with internal bezel is the most uncommon. I would probably buy one of this when it meets my budget or when the poison is deeper . For now,I rather put in few more hundreds for a 1861 speedmaster/moon watch.

thats about it :P

And note on monstertime site mentions its an 'automatic movt in god condition'. Its no date so should be using 865(manual wind movt) so no way its automatic. 920 and 865 are manual winding movt.
