UHR vs Steinhart

Just happened to be browsing through some chronos. Stumbled upon a UHR review on WUS, and saw some really nice clean picts of UHR's chrono, UHR-283. Really clean and beautiful...

Its eta 7750 movement is similar (even the same grade) to steinhart's Nav B-Chrono II (which has a 4mm larger case though)... but the UHR-283 had the day wheel concealed/omitted (which makes it look even cleaner). (OT: at times i wonder whether i've been ripped off by IWC for getting their spitfire chrono. But i think its the level of detail on the dial/ case... so i felt better  )

anyway how do you guys think abt the UHR-283? Anyone with experiences with UHR?

On chronos with 7750 movement... perhaps you might want to add in the Ollech N Waj 3066 from Gnomon... if i'm not wrong, base on the previous rate calculation, you might be paying lesser than 1.3k

The UHR283 @ $700 price point with GST and shipping, is not possible @ current x-change rate. Previously there were few guys in Singapore managed to get that price, that's when the x-change rate drops below 1EU=SGD1.7 point. Perhaps @ the current rate, you might be expect to pay 765~785.

The Steinhart Nav B-Chrono II(44mm) with strap might now be priced @ 1.4k if you order from Gnomon. @ the same price, if you order from Steinhart Germany straight, you might be able to get the one with SS bracelet.

One another brand to consider is Christopher Ward @ approx. 1.2k for one with leather strap, 1.3k for one with metal bracelet.
