I spend nearly an hr trying to size the bracelet and still can't get the screws turned! Anyone has the same problem?

Try this way... instead of straight away screw in, turn your jewel screw driver in anti-clockwise direction slowly, and feel if there's somekind like a "jump" or "click" with your sensitivity, when it does, the screw thread and the tapped hole is align oredi, slowly turn in. See whether it screws better or not.
Do check that the tapped hole in the bracelet link is not blocked by foreign object, or, not damaged because of your first few tries of screw in of the holding pins.

Are you really sure its a screw?

If it has a very fine minus that looks like a minus screw head.

Its actually a pin. When fully pushed into the links. It looks like a minus screw.

Be sure. Safe to go k2. He can do. U pay a small fee n learn the way as well.

Steinhart has been very kind and offered to replace the bracelet. Prior to shipping the bracelet, they will check that the screws are ok.

Remember to add gst.
From experience shop price may be even higher or no difference . I will suggest dropping an email to enquire.

Order direct better. Gnomon watches always out of stock for popular models such as OVM. I got mine direct from Steinhart. Slightly cheaper than retail.

ya, agree order direct seems better. But also hope to see it in the metal first.
Anyway, haven't confirm buying, still in the planning stage

Hmm gonomon always OOS, but can put small deposit like $50 to have them keep one for u when it arrives? Anyway order direct is fast. I got my vintage GMT in 9 days. But I heard gonomon will not repair or service non local sets while under warranty?

Was wearing the OVM at work today, my boss notice it and thought it was a Rolex.
I said,"No lar, how can afford one. This one Steinhart from Germany."
He said,"Looks good, must be expensive."
Me,"Much cheaper than your Rolex."

Actually, I'm really afraid that my watches look like Rolex....but I may make an exception for this OVM due to the patina looking indices and sword hands.
Btw, are there any issues with the bracelet, bezel, any alignment problems or anything??
Just researching first...

I am happy with it so far.
Only gripe is the 'straight' lugs, which asian thinner wrist will look 'weird' from the sides. Especially when paired with nato strap.
Other than that, its an excellent watch.

Hmm been wearing my ocean vintage GMT and so far no one has commented on it...was concerned that colleagues might mistake it for a Rolex, but i guess it's not a homage of a common or current rolex so few will make the connection.

Finishing is pretty good. Bracelet is decent. The bezel is a hit or miss...but i am overall satisfied. Bang for bucks.

It looks like the vintage submariner but some brands also share the same design.
