BOCTOK is cyrillic, original spelling of the word Vostok, meaning East.

Thanks boss.
Was skeptical when i saw one up for sale with the different markings
on the papers and the watch.
Are these watches any good?
Think they are hand wound types.
Are there anything i should look out for when purchasing a russian watch?

You world want to buy one from zenitar or Christopolcity on eBay. There are automatic and hand wound movements. The movements are rugged and easy to service. They can be easily regulated. The most popular model is the Soviet military diver watch called the Amphibian. They come in various styles of case and dial. You should know that stock bracelet is really poor in quality and you will be changing it. Most people ditch it right out of the box.
You should also check Meranom website, think that they are official factory retailers.

I ordered one Amphibian diver couple of days ago and it my first, so I will keep you posted. But for 80 dollars for a watch, spare crown, crystal and seals, it's a steal. And it is 200m water resistant, screw in crown, self wound with hand winding, screw in back plate and a cool looking in it's Ministry 710 type case, all stainless steel.
