Re: How many of you own a TUNA ?

Yup, i own a few  http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j135/badern/tuna/IMG_0920.jpg  Thats my dream right there laid out on your table... Then you got to come to one of our gatherings! Badern is VERY sporting and brings his tunas for an outing each time. There's a lot to learn from him.

Re: How many of you own a TUNA ?

Your wrist looks big. Doesn't the lug-to-lug feel too close and pinches the wrist? That was my beef with this watch and my sbdx005. Pity, really loved the looks. Sent from my Nortel 1822 EXACTLY!! But my wrist is smallish... just 6.5" still feels the pinch slightly. Wears like a Puck. :p Maybe I'll...

Re: What's your latest buy! (Hoot thread)

A little birdie drop these two off at my doorstep. Sent by the yellow minions! Oooh... what cans are those? You're into headphones too?? I just ordered a pair of Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro off eBay! I tested a pair here but they were damn expensive; got them off the bay at about 40% less than the ...

Re: How many of you own a TUNA ?

wow, nice! What model is that? Thanks Is that the Emperor? Ya Emperor. Found a good deal off SG-ROC and there was some wiggle room then met the seller last night. Even got an Isofrane in the deal. Nice guy. Phonecam has a wide angle lens so the watch looks a LOT larger than it actually is. In this ...

Re: Screw crown not completely screwed on

Not that I know of. I think if you strip the threads you're up shit creek without a paddle. This happens on vintage divers and the repair is costly. Involves drilling out the collar and micro welding a new tube in. a very specialised operation that I doubt even the factory will offer to do. Sent fro...

Re: Seiko "Spork"

You won't find any online shop selling a Spork as it's already discontinued. Any stock you see now should be second hand. The Sumo is a Japan Domestic Market (JDM) watch so that is still available from dealers who parallel their watches. Personally I'd suggest the Sumo first then the Spork. I have b...

Re: How many of you own a TUNA ?

Ivan, he was asking for a tuna for cheap and you're offering him your top end fishes. Hence sadistic. :)

In that note, I finally bit the sashimi and picked up a Tuna.

Re: Seiko Sumo vs Tuna

Get the Sumo first if you've neither watch. Both will hold their value well so you'll have no real trouble flipping them BUT the Sumo is very very comfortable on the wrist. Also it's an automatic... And most WIS will tell you that between a quartz and an auto, you should go with an auto. I have had ...
