Re: Choose: Alpinist or Somes?

I would choose the 2nd generation Somes the 2nd gen one flanked by the 1st gen Somes.. =D (some of the straps are aftermarket ones) http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a282/ruzmidah/IMAG0763.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a282/ruzmidah/IMAG0759.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a282/ruzmida...

Re: Suggest: Watch for father

Citizen promaster range is a good competitor for the SKX series.

Another thing to note is that some old people prefer the convenience of quartz over automatics...

I bought for my uncle an auto once, he wear without screwing down the crown... LOL.

Re: 10watches not shipping to sgp

I think Singpost has nothing to do with this.

My last package from HK / China was delivered by a company called "4PX".
And they only delivered it 60+ days after the seller sent it out.

Re: Very delayed deliver from Dagaz

I dont think its a problem with the dealer.

I think its a forwarder issue.
4PX is the forwarder's name.

Re: Very delayed deliver from Dagaz

I ordered some LED light bulbs from China (or HK, not sure which) via ebay

The items reached me in > 60 days, I logged a complaint on paypal and was in the process of getting my refund when the item arrived.

Apparently they are using some stupid forwarder in Singapore.

The huge-ass Duro clamp is the "in-thing" now. I would get that. Of course if u are looking for locks, best are those Abloy disk tumbler locks. Unpickable (apparently abloy will pay anyone who manages to pick their locks). However they are damn expensive ($200 per piece for the top of the ...
