My Grail Tuna!

Hello everyone, my fascination with tunas mean that I gradually collected quite a number of tunas in my collection. But after all these years I had yet to snag a particular LE grail shrouded diver. Thanks to a TZ-UK member, Pipat I finally managed to acquire this beauty. So what is it? Lets join me ...

Re: Shogun and Sumo

Thanks for the story! 20 years ago (early 90s) it might have either been the 6309-7290 (slim cased 6309 divers) or 7002 divers. The 6309 divers ended production in 1988 so you may have the tail end of the production of 6309-7290s. The 7002 divers were the replacement for the 6309 series. The 7002 wa...

Re: iPad Air Video

Cool catch Roo!

It is the 6309 -7040!
But why is it upside down?
- was the actor rushing and did not put on the watch properly?
Or maybe, just maybe he is a seiko collector and wants to tease us? Hahaha

Re: Replacing Tuna Shroud

Sorry to hear about your Golgo shroud issue. The 8000 yen is for replacement of the shroud when the watch is in Japan or is it the cost Thong Sia is charging for the shroud alone? IMO 8000 yen is a very decent price for a tuna shroud, let alone a PVD version. If you can get the replacement shroud, r...

Re: Sammi Cheng , Wears Seiko Tuna .

Nice, i believe she's a spoke person for Seiko... but it's always the Criteria series. That Tuna looks good, perhaps a resize of bracelet will help. Cool to see tuna in mainstream media again. I agree the bracelet needs to be resized. But maybe there are no more links to be removed from the 015 bra...

Re: Yobokies' Black DLC Sardine Shroud

I think the first batch has ones that come fitting well. If I din recall wrongly, Badern ordered 2. One can fit and one cannot. Sent by the yellow minions! Yup! Ordered 2 and only one fit. The other was way too tight to sit all the way in. Poor QC imo. But we have no choice .... still have to get f...

Re: Interval Of Forum Watch & Next Forum Watch Base

I just realize that looking back at my suggestion, and Astro's hot reply... i find that the SRP229 or SRP231 diver with shroud seems to fit those 1st yr anniversary strap well... For those whose strap have some minor hints of RED, the dial of SRP229 together with RED seconds hand as well as gold fr...

Re: Ananta Katana Case , Is Discontinued ?

I have not heard of this but it is indeed a sad thing if the katan case has been discontinued. I have the katana cased Ananta as well courtesy of Seiko. (received mine in a Seiko competition) And i really love the katana finish. PS : Miker, i have just replied your PM before reading this post. If th...
