Re: Seiko Club Singapore - Watch Dial
That does look promising  Good to see a local source for custom watches. I especially like the Army watch they custom made : http://www.chang.com.sg/CUSREV1.html Wish I could buy one. I think the description might not be accurate though, the Dial says "SCE" which actually stands for Singapo...

Re: Seiko Club Singapore - Watch Dial
I feel that SGD $500.00 would be a reasonable "cut-off" point.

How do you store your Seikos ?
Hi Guys
I'm tired of keeping my Seikos loosely all over the place....Thinking of getting a storage box.
Would love to see how you store your Seikos
Also, is there a source in Singapore that sells reasonably priced (less than SGD $100) watch boxes for up to 10 watches ?
Cheers

Non-Diver 6306 and 6309 watches
The Diver versions of the 6306 and 6309 watches have pride of place in many a Seikoholic's collection... Don't get me wrong, I'm really happy that I now have a 6309 Diver..and I still kick myself for having sold the one-and-only 6306 Diver that came my way But I came upon some non-diver 6309s not to...

One Question.......
Where would we get the custom Dial made ?
Is there a local source, or are only overseas options available ?
Anyone have a contact for this ?
Cheers

Re: Seiko Club Singapore - Watch Dial
Regarding the base watch for the SCS Watch, one major advantage of using the 007 or 009, is the large number of aftermarket parts, like Bezel Inserts, Chapter Rings, Hands, and Dials available out there.. :D Just check out Yobokies and 10Watches.com website and you will be amazed at the variations a...

Re: Seiko Club Singapore - Watch Dial
I wonder...... If once we decide on a specific model, whether we can get Thong Sia to offer it to us at a group-buy "special" price..since it's for the Singapore Seiko Club  Chances are slim (maybe even none), but might be worth a shot :D Not sure how we would contact them though.... MANoj

Re: Seiko Club Singapore - Watch Dial
Perhaps , if someone has a contact for making custom dials, we can start the ball rolling by having those who have dial ideas, submit their designs ?
While the dial designs are being done, we can than also think about which watch is to be the base

Re: Seiko Club Singapore - Watch Dial
Wow... those are my exact same preferences as well  Ok I'll just chime in with my preferences (which leans towards features that promote longevity). - Screw-down crown, doesn't matter whether the base watch is 100M or 200M or above. - Even-number lug size - Non-homage, or at least not so ov...

Seiko Club Singapore - Watch Dial
Hi All Not sure if this was ever discussed before... Was there ever any discussion about possibly having a "special edition" Seiko Club Singapore watch Dial ? I know that other Watch Forums, like the Seiko & Citizen Watch Forum, Equations of Time Sea 3, and the more recent Fifty-Five Fanthoms have d...

Thanks man :D Ahh, you mean my Marathon SAR-D. Yah, sorry we could not deal on that one, it was picked up pretty fast once I posted it. Now I miss it..Sigh.. I guess that's always part and parcel of watch collecting..Unless you have unlimited financial resources, one has to adopt a catch and release...

"Hi" from a longtime lurker
Hi All I've been coming to this website for a few months now, since I chanced upon it, doing a google search for Seiko watches  I was thrilled to hear about a local site for Seiko collectors. I currently have 8 Seikos... Here are pics of some of them... -------------------------------------...
