If you are so hung up about the date complication then go for one that has none. For the price of your GS and 012, you can get a Rolex no date sub..Ender wrote:Thanks all!
Fickleminded me, but I have decided.. again!.. to hold off getting the SBDX012.
The bla**y date is unnerving me !

Re: mm300 regulation recommended?
+13s per day is within the official daily variance for the 8L35 movement. I would get it regulated, but then I am obsessed with accuracy and would not accept +13s per day from a watch in this price range. I asked before and K2 did not want to do it. Maybe I not Yan Dao enough, so u can always call ...

thats the thing about watch as a hobby: the best thrill is the ones that you know personally, alongside with comments offered by the more observant folks. Enjoy the GS, mate. Their textures of their dial are quite a work of art. Tks Bro, hope this watch can stay with me for long time.[/quote] Hi ma...

Buying new - give you feeling of a virgin watch. More expensive. Buying used - somehow you think she's been used and been manhandled by another. Save at least a little usually. Buying the emperor after the quartz, there is a big heft difference. Especially between the 300m and the 1000M. Less so be...

Re: Where got sell isofrane straps in singapore?
Was in same boat a few months back. You can either buy online or do what I did and wait for bros to sell. There are sales of BNIB straps which appears once in a while. I am a patient man though. I agree the price not cheap but so far I feel that it is worth it and the wear is very good. In any case ...

I guess if one goes to Japan, one should look for JDM models that are not readily available in Singapore. Just my thought. I would if I am there.

Re: Grand Seiko SBGA011 vs Rolex Explorer II
My friend you ask this in a Seiko Forum...what do you think the verdict will be.. But for what its worth, I think its not comparing apples to apples. Both are great watches but having an Explorer II and a GS (mech) I can only say the workmanship on the Rolex is not as refined as the GS. But if...
