where to buy tools

Post by KKFA » 19 Jun 2013 23:44

Dont know whether this is the right place to post this question, but where do you guys get your tools for sizing of braclets, changing straps etc. I seen one kit being sold at JW, where else can we buy these?

Reasonably priced but adequate to use?

Is there a watch makers' tool shop or something like that. Prefer locally available.
Thanks.

Go to mustapa centre. Level 3; Hardware section.
Somewhere near the place they sell Victorinox knives.
U will need to ask the worker there as it is kept in a locked display panel.

Cheap and; well.... useable.
Its a set of common watch tools; Made in China one.

Information is accurate as of last yr =p

Time is free, but it's priceless. You can't
own it, but you can use it. You can't keep
it, but you can spend it. Once you've lost it
you can never get it back.

The tanjong pagar shop should be the one facing one of the courtyards inside. The not behind ntuc but behind the two kopi shops selling vegetable rice.

Been there but not much things there IMHO. Maybe cis I had all I needed when I dropped by the last time.

That's a hardware shop that sell some watch tools only. Mostly Anchor brand. I used to go by every couple of week during lunch when I was working at Orchard. But his stock is v old and frankly no cheap not a lot of variety. Like, I bought a lume kit from him but the resin was solidified so he let me have it at half price. I'm gonna try mixing it with clear nail polish and see how it will work.
