Random Seiko Box Question

Post by Byfrost » 30 Jun 2013 13:55

I just realized that most Seiko boxes the size cannot fit in the Instruction manual and Warranty Booklet. So how you all keep your the silver colored instruction manual and blue warranty booklet without getting mixed up if you all have a rather sizable collection of Seikos?

Don't you all find this irritating?

Even if we buy our Seiko from Thong Sia also we will get similar boxes that cannot fit in our Warranty and Instruction Booklets right?

Because I am assuming If we get cheaper Parallel imports (i.e.from Skywatches etc...) we may have gotten random different Seiko Boxes...

Huh really?

All my Seiko boxes cannot squeeze in the Instruction manual and warranty booklet leh. So far I have brought 4 Seikos in my life (sold 2) all the boxes cannot fit in the both Silver color instruction manual and blue color warranty booklet. Even fitting one inside also cannot. Either box too small or big enough but only have space for 1 booklet. Zzz..

Mine can put all the booklets too.
Its white in colour. Looks like a generic one that comes with all my Seiko.

Here is how my sawtooth box looks like and the booklets are able to be kept inside it.

But there is another squarish bluebox that is impossible for the booklets to be kept in it.

I put all my watch boxes into a cupboard and have a small box/tray on the side that I slot all the misc manuals into. Each manual is in its own ziploc back (from SKP). Yes, I'm anal like that.
I don't seem to have enough wrists. :)

First picture no need to say. Don't even need to open up the box show you all. Can tell instantly dimensions all wrong. Booklet is bigger than box.

Second box can only fit one booklet. Blue warranty booklet fits well, silver instruction manual super tight fit until may tear the outer paper box. Can see from the picture inside got one booklet, which is the blue warranty booklet. I'm using the silver colored instruction manual as a guide.

Why I get such boxes and how come you all de box so big one. =/
