Since we had a rough idea how a forum watch price can be... Maybe we can start the next phase with watch type first? Before deciding on the brands?
Some brands can offer certain watch types as options, some brands can't.

For example, let's say when we talk about dive watches, all 3 major jap brands in the market have enough options for us to choose, with SEIKO taking the lead with widest choice of designs, so as ORIENT, with limited models available through CITIZEN on their mechanical makes.

When we come into dress watch, the most budget one comes from ORIENT BAMBINO, then follows by CITIZEN, last with limited models available from SEIKO...and the rest of the watch types continues with different models or even non that fellow members can think of...

Well the rational is we might engage a micro to custom the whole watch but since its a Seiko Club watch, we want to hear from the members if its necessary to be a Seiko watch.

It also limits our choices of type and case too. Still good to hear from the rest.

to add on to roo's point, even if we engage a Micro company(depending on Polling result), high chance it's on a Miyota 82xx movt.

Actually... i'm not so well knowledge on MIYOTA movements. As the model number goes up, does it means that it will be higher cost since it's more feature packed?

I've voted on the frequecy part

But for the Watch Base, any chance we can also consider adding the SRP series of Sardines ?

I understand Harold (Yobokies) is working on custom Bezels for the SRP as well.

With Harold's SS Shroud, custom Dial/Hands..and maybe even a custom Bezel...it's be a cool Forum-specific Tuna :D

Who knows, maybe end up with a custom sardine like this... ;)
