lol... just kidding la.

Anyway, it's a fact and it's in most watch instruction booklet, for all mechanical watches, you don't change the date between 10pm to 2am, depending on movement, that range can be wider as it's the time where the date wheel is engaged, if you change the date during that sacred time, you will cause the date wheel to "jump a few teeth", therefore the next date change won't be at 12am sharp.

Enlighten you how operation works :? When midnight 24:00hrs strikes , the Big date immediately changes & adjusts , as did the new month . No tricks , just the perpetual Seiko doing its job "No Delay" instant adjustment . I hope this helps you understand , remember its a kinetic mechanical / quartz watch . ;)

Mate, the perpetual in rolex terminology refers to it's self-winding mechanism, not the ability to recognize and change the last day of the month accordingly like your Seiko actura perpetual calendar. It should not be confused with watches with a perpetual calendar complication.

Thanks for your reply , i figured that much . Being the Rolex is a mechanical watch , dont you just love antiquated , obsolete technology mechanical watches 'I do' :D
