I remember seeing on youtube during one of the watch reviews that the guy used an iPhone app called "kello" as a timegrapher. Dunno how accurate it is, but definitely much cheaper than this machine on ebay... USD8.99 on the app store, if you are using iphone.

It will be very useful if you can regulate on your own...

Hmm dunno how useful is it in the long run. I don't mind actually.

I bet it will give ah goh lots of business as we can identify watches that need regulating haha.

wah my watches no need so accurate , within 10 minutes a day more than enough
Time is free, but it's priceless. You can't
own it, but you can use it. You can't keep
it, but you can spend it. Once you've lost it
you can never get it back.

use timegrapher for a few good wearing watch will be enough...but if have a big collection and esp vintage watches, then IMO for me will be very tedious to check their accuracy...maybe later too into accuracy riao...as long keep reasonable timing den no need check...

Yea, I was discussing with sellwatch offline. I do agree the price is attractive, but in the long term, how useful will it be in our hands...

I think if I have this timegrapher, I will spend a lot of time regulating my Russian pieces

Anybody use before? Do we need a quiet environment for it to work? What are the range it can regulate?

If share ownership, im wondering if it can work at places like macdonalds.

actually the co-own idea feasible ? cos the person holding to it must be able to meetup with other member...more than often also dont have that much watch/time to test..

better place to do such test would be public or national library..they have those small private? rooms for studying/reading right? think next time we can have watch meetups there....

i duno feasible or not leh. Unless we have some sort of like regular meetups every month or something. I doubt the private rooms at the library can handle such a big group without complains but it would be good to be away from the prying eyes at CSC.
