Recommendation for square/rectangular case watch

Post by lunarin79 » 29 Nov 2011 12:46

As stated, I'm thinking of adding a square case/rectangle case watch into my collection, used to have a NOMOS Tetra before, I find square case can be very nice when worn. Not too small tho

quartz or auto should be ok

but hor, dun recommend me atas brands hor :(

i cheapo nia, budget probably under $400

I thought SWATCH got some rectangular quartz chronos in their range? If ur budget is $400, might can get some changes back...

I guess you're looking for dress watch?
Maybe you can try the brand KOLBER(SWISS brand using mostly RONDA quartz movements), with your budget range, tambah a little more, you might be able to get couples watch for yourself also your wifey. Available only @ mustafa.

Rectangular case + Automatic... i can only think of this SWISS brand APPELLA wor... but you might have to tambah another 5 blue bills more, but in return, you can get a WESTAR watch for free...although the value of the free piece is not listed. Also @ Mustafa. This brand not so common.
Or maybe you might want to try the odd shaped retro horse trotter(?) shaped RADO?

Rectangular case + Quartz... I can only think of CK. Should be available at most authorised SWATCH distributors. With your budget, might be able to get only one. But to me, most of the rectangular CK watches seems to be too..."GuNiang", soft... doesn't blend so well with man's wrist ley...

ya, the Mido is nice, RG somemore.

the Orient is not bad, a practical watch. Maybe can consider about it.

but this is not bad also, for quartz category

ya, i suspect so too

usually Couturas, le Grand series mostly on integrated.

but this piece, the integration doesn't look so obvious so i might be able to accept plus the bracelet design is not bad :)
