Ok FOLKS!!! We're now officially into the last 48hrs till the minute needle points to 2012 @ 0000hrs!

After the whole year of lurking, whole year of spending, eventually whole year of hooting. Till our juice dries up, now mostly pull down their shutters or pull their hooting horses to a halt. We shall now sit down, look back at our hoots, pickup the best 3 hoots which in your opinion, shall be the best 3 of the year 2011!

Let me go first.

1st. STEINHART Ocean 44 DLC.

2nd. UHR-261 Valjoux7750 Auto Chrono.

3rd. SANDOZ "YatchMaster" MOP, dual tone.

2011 is crazy for me, I didn't want to hoot much as my daughter arrived in Aug. Now I look back, I'm only left with like 10+ pieces that I hoot for this year.

In no order.

Sandoz Typhoon 1000m monobloc, possibly the first 1000m watch.

Seiko 62MAS, definitely a key piece this year to complete my vintage diver collection (minus Tuna and MM father and grandfather).

Doxa 750T DivingStar GMT, I always wanted a GMT and a Doxa, so this piece just came along at the right time.

I've hooted quite a few this year, but also flipped most of them to hoot my grail.
Top 3 that stayed:

MM300

Orange Sumo

LM

This one would be too if only it can arrive this week

But I will have to wait till next year (next week

)

As I'm working on my target submission at work for next year, I've also listed my target hoot in 2012

SKX423. Owned one before, flipped it. super remorse. had a chance to acquire it back again after 3 years but diff dial colour.

4S12 SUS GMT. Practically sacrificed my whole section of my vintage 60s seiko dress watch for this

7T59 Quartz Chrono. Snagged this off from ossimm, been hunting for one for a while. When I saw his post, the sms was sent out before I finished reading his descriptions.

I love the patina on this piece. I really want a watch like that to be my daily beater.
