mine was from dad. think he bought in the 80s...

when he passed it to me, it was in quite bad shape. lume all yellow and flaky.... worst was the crown came off when adjusting time...

i even make a joke calling it a lolec... implying my dad bought some fake 5 matchsticks watch.

eventually decided to send it to rolex centre for overhaul, in the hope of giving it back to him.

but he says a retiree has no use for a rolex, so it's with me for the past 7 yrs....
