Armida A7 (steel) or Prometheus Piranha

Post by chriscentro » 07 Nov 2014 17:09

Hi guys

Which one do you prefer? The Armida uses the Seiko 4R movement while the Piranha uses the Miyota 9015.
Armida has a cleaner look and Piranha has a unique look to it.
Both are about the same price.

Prometheus for me.

Armida is nice but it just look like other dive watches out there (in terms of design ; dial, bezel insert, case)

Prometheus dial might look a bit cluttered but overall it still looks good with the different elements in it. Prefer the case used for Piranha over Armida, as well as the one piece s/s bezel.

I will go for uniqueness over safe, lol

but it's subjective

From the picture, the Piranha looks really good, it's just that I scared it doesn't look so nice in the metal, lol.
But still I'm leaning towards the Piranha as it is white, different from my other watches. And I like the 9015 movement.

Is just that I keep going this or that , hahah..got no permit to get both, so dont say "is it too much to ask for both?"

because i want to wear it to office too leh, if yellow, only Fri then is suitable to wear.
Ya, yellow not bad but i dont like the bezel got black marking, prefer it plain like the white dial one.

Yellow. It's still inside the box. Will post some pic when time permits.

Armida is slight more common in look and reliable lor.

Piranha also gets my vote. Don't have it or own it but looks way more unique. Plus, I prefer Miyota 9015 vs 4R...
But that's me.
