What Just Came In: The Grand Seiko SBGA125 and SBGA127!

Baselworld 2015’s new releases are finally starting to arrive here at Timeless and we just received our SBGA125 and SBGA127 spring drive limited editions! Both of these watches were inspired by the classic 62GS, the first Grand Seiko automatic.

We’ve taken to calling the SBGA125 the “blizzard dial,” comparing many of its qualities to the legendary Snowflake. Both are titanium, both feature 9R65 spring drives, and both feature textured white dials. But the SBGA125 has a dial that, to us at least, resembles a heavy snow flurry. The SBGA125 is limited to 1,000 pieces.

The SBGA127 accompanies it, bringing a classic blue sunburst, not unlike last year’s popular SBGA105. Like the SBGA125, it’s also in a 40mm titanium case. The SBGA127 is limited to just 700 pieces, much fewer than the Blizzard.

Naturally, we will be reviewing both of these watches soon!
