Thanks CEO. I'm captivated by the understated charm, elegance and beauty of these Seiko pieces made in the 60s. They don't make watches like these anymore.lunarin79 wrote:nice Goldfeather, still thinking whether to get one back againTheChef wrote:Take over the honors from Bro Trident.

A nice early GF with etched markers like mine. Is yours 18K solid gold or 14k gold plated? Mine is 14k gold plated. I believe that the crown stem is not the correct type or not properly installed for your piece. Bring it to Lucky Chinatown watch shop to check it out. If Goh Seo Choon shop owner is still alive, he would have solved this for you in 5 mins.Trident wrote:Hi Chef, nice GF, I got a GF too. But the crown can't be pushed in.

Chef, Thanks. Mine is 14 k plated too. It's a pity Mr Goh pass on so soon as his brother does not do this.TheChef wrote:Trident wrote:Hi Chef, nice GF, I got a GF too. But the crown can't be pushed in.

Other than GS, they don't make hand wound watches anymore.
