Hi all, first post.

Just to share as I got a JDM Seiko in Taiwan few days back. I think some model with the discount and tax rebate at airport, it will be a good buy. See Pic;

Paiseh, maybe clarify a bit. I bought in Taipei but claim the tax rebate of 5% at the airport. So additional 5% off my purchase price.
For a rough price gauge ck out Seiko.com.tw for the SRP and work out the discount. The shop I went to is a 老子号。
Most of the shop wont give you their best discount untill you are serious about buying.
Maybe can consider getting a GS with this discount.

The final price is NT15700 -5% = NT14915?

Paiseh, was looking out more for 黑鲔鱼sushi then Seiko Tuna. So didn't take note of it.
But http://www.seiko.com.tw/products/Brand.aspx?id=11" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; does list it. So I believe you should be able to find it in taiwan.
BTW, the shop that I bought did not carry the Sumo. I was shown the Seiko catalogue and they brought it over from other branch after I agreed on the price.
What was in the catalogue is quite similar to their website. Hope this help.

So you get 35% off list price before another 5% rebate.
Is it a norm of all shops for 35% ?
