I saw a thread in WUS that was talking about a guy who bought it from Thailand and they pointed out the hands and the lume parts to look out for. Heng ah I was about to bid but got suspected something wrong when it was offered as used/preown but still had all the stickers onlunarin79 wrote:indeed.traded wrote:http://www.ebay.com/itm/321019962964?ss ... 1423.l2649

As some of you may already know,theres the sudden stock of luminox quartz dive watches(normally black dial) begin
circulated locally in past year. If its too good,it probably is and with some reason...so take precaution when you buy soft cased luminox from resellers or 'collectors'....
some info; http://information.usnavyseals.com/fake ... -watch.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
and the usual model to fake is this 3050/3950 (as for now)
usual fake setup will be similar to this(for example only to show soft case,card and watch as a set)

Thank you so much, Seiko Club SG!
If a deal seems to good to be true , then be on guard . Remember its in the tiny details & product knowledge .Rudd wrote:Since we are talking about fake SEIKO or some other brands,
Would you guys kindly share your knowledge to identify a fake Seiko? What are the things to look out for?
So can we say if a deal is good from far it usually will turn out to be far from good? Imo best is to handle the watch personally rather than just seeing photos hijacked from the net.MIKER wrote:If a deal seems to good to be true , then be on guard . Initially was interested to get Seiko Diver SKX007J or SRP043K2 but the price was fluctuating and heard that SRP043K2 model has been discontinued. Here and there gives different pricing. Pages like ebay or amazon, etc.. are out of the question. Do a little bit of research here and there still catch no balls on how to identify the fake ones.MIKER wrote:If a deal seems to good to be true , then be on guard .
