Re: Getting this as a dress watch?
Reminds of the old style Seamaster 30 or the Longines Admiral.
The Orient tribute will surely be a fraction of both the formers. I'd say...
FHFL, Hoot Now & Worry later! Lol.
Any cream variant with steel/silver indicators?

Re: Getting this as a dress watch?
TS, would you consider Seiko dress watch and they do have a number of nice dress watch at a affordable price range.
A man age doesn't matter; it's the man heart... think positive & good things will come along the way...

Any models you would recommend?Wade wrote:TS, would you consider Seiko dress watch and they do have a number of nice dress watch at a affordable price range.
Re: Getting this as a dress watch?
TS you can try getting Seiko Sarb072 from it's a JDM from Seiko Japan. =)
Re: Getting this as a dress watch?
As a matter of fact, any of the SARB series from Seiko would be a worthy dress watch consideration. The 6R15 calibre is of such high standards & they are dubbed as Mini-Grand Seiko.NadnerB wrote:TS you can try getting Seiko Sarb072 from it's a JDM from Seiko Japan. =)
Prices starting from $450 in the pre-loved market, depending on condition.

Re: Getting this as a dress watch?
Can consider getting a Hamilton dress watch from pertrolnut price almost the same as a brand new sarb seiko
Re: Getting this as a dress watch?
Agreed. But be prepared to take a hit for the Hammy if you are thinking of flipping or reselling. The SARBs will at least hold her value dearer at the 450 range. Can't say the same for hamiltons.Jonatutu wrote:Can consider getting a Hamilton dress watch from pertrolnut price almost the same as a brand new sarb seiko
My 2 cents.

Re: Getting this as a dress watch?
Agreed. At an entry level price point, I think Orients offer a much wider range for dress watches than Seikos. Just my 2 cents.balzebub71 wrote:would love to get a sarb like cocktail time for a dress watch but in terms of price compared to the Orient, quite a big difference...

Re: Getting this as a dress watch?
I actually did a check from some of the renowned japanese site, they're selling it at about 39,000 yen to 42,000 yen which includes shipping.telepgm wrote:As a matter of fact, any of the SARB series from Seiko would be a worthy dress watch consideration.
