who says no one love Casio. I start out loving Casio back in early days and still have Casios mah...used to have a whole pile of them in these series(but sold off);

-vintage DW5xxx series right up to DW6xxx series (5000, many 5200,many 5600C,5400,5300 x2,5900,6000,6100,6300 froggy,6400 gundam x 2, 6500,6600 x few,6800 (listed in US navy pilot kit), 6900 x few,vintage risemen......many more
*square series iconic DW5XXX abt over 35-40 riao..

-modern to sub vintage DW5600 series (maybe ard 6)

-vintage sensor series(temperature,barometer,blood pressure) *strength unknown

-Vintage gadget and games(Ultra rare TM-100,various games and many more)
*strength unknown

-JDM (MIMB Risemen, stealth GW5600)

Anytime will have about a hundred Casios...they are really cool watches especially vintage gadget series.

Anyway I change all the batteries myself and do all those repair(if they in condition to repair)..so try to change the batteries yourself,as easy as ABC... just need to get good source for batteries(fakes does exist!) ,some screw drivers and plastic+metal tweezer can riao..

sure bro....just need to know what battery cos frogman only a few types;
whenever you want to change,let me know

CR2016 (mostly)... maybe (CR2025)

vintage G shock also use CR2016 but certain old ones use CR2320 which is a rare battery and more expensive than 2016.

alright bro... Need one soon... The clear one soon need a special treatment...

How long the battery can last for g-shock? The 2016 battery is looks massive big and can last for 4 to 5 years?

I will do research what type of battery... But the killer snake most likely is 2016

4 to 5 years depends on many conditions riao but I dont expect so long(never timed also)..

I am looking at 2-3 years nia for most watches I have especially these kinda of huge divers.

sometimes I use multimeter test the volt 'left' in it although its suppose to new. Old stock/dusty batteries in some shops sure will be lower in voltage than those recent replaced stocks.

many factors like how many times you press light/illuminator,sound/alarm per day and any functions that may require slightly higher voltage.

When to know its time to change battery?
- whenever you press the illum/light button and whole screen appears dim/blank.

2016 is safe and easy battery to get cos everywhere also sell....photoshop/watchshop/some bookshop/mama shop etc..

no lar...I not that good lar...some bros is good in Casio too but they diam diam nia..

I just talking from experience.

Anyway I find for Vintage digital watches wise, Casio's PCB quality is the best and often can revive as compare to citizen(can take years and years of good use). Seiko is on par with Casio for quality but Casio to me is easier to work with,easier to revive.

a lot of those froggy owners buy extra set just in case they need resell etc..
but that's only if you can get a good price for the straps and bezel.

Used to love G-Shock and still do. But i hated the rubber casing. They dont last as long as metal casing, mine hardened and crack/chip in less than 2 years. Btw, i had them undergone real bad working conditions.

not everyone buy gshock for fashion purpose I guess.

But casing wise is cheaper if you change one...imagine you wear a metal case watch and gone through the same condition as your gshock did... I guess dings and scratches are unavoidable and if you change the casing... More ex

my brother still have the 93's dw-6900 and rubber harden and scratches everywhere...

Buy hey, isn't it that's what gshock for? Something other watches can't do

me like ;)
