Seiko 5 Magnetized?

My seiko snk809 is running really fast, +20mins over night, is it magnetized or? Anyway to tell? It's out of warranty, but a gift with sentimental value, would try to fix it if possible...

yes is either you need service or magnetized, or regulation need to be done, 20min is too much, standard should be 20 sec

You bet! 20mins is way out of line!

If the watch means the world to you, send it to an overhaul. Maybe 50 bucks per pop? Your Brother 5 will run smoothly again.
