Overhaul of GS

Post by kamchuan » 24 Dec 2013 10:42

Dear all,

I have an old 56GS that needs a overhaul. The watch is running ok, but I think I want service it and polish up the case. Any ideas where I should do this and how much will it cost? Thank you in advance for the guidance.

Regards,
CL

Don't polish up the case, should leave it in the vintage look. Can look for Mr Goh at K2.

Mr Goh can service GS ?

the only possible way is to send to Thong Sia and they will arrange sending it back to Japan to service, by far only Japan (original place where GS made) can service GS watch, may ask them to quote you the price of service + polish + postage :)

Hi david, did you have any experience with TS on GS overhaul? I think will be quite ex if it's going to go back to JP. Frankly speaking, I am hoping not to take this route if possible.

Mr Goh can service MM300, so GS shouldn't be a problem.

I'm flabbergasted. This will surely more than tie you through. I'm always impressed by the beautiful GS I get to admire in this forum....

Absolutely stunning. Congrats.
