Need help with Casio MD 703's movt

Post by Badern » 14 Jul 2014 15:12

Hi guys,
I have a Casio MD 703 that i treasure a lot. However recently the batt died and Mr Goh said that the movt is kaput as well. He recommended getting a replacemnt module by buying a casio watch with the same movt.

A bro here (cannot remember who...) ever mentioned the same thing to me. But I cannot remember the exact movt or model that can swap with the MD 703.

Can someone help me out? Thanks!

The watch is the one on the left.

Suggest you open up the back case and snap some pic of the movt.

hi from Spain. i have just joined the forum,....just to share with you my md-703' experience. I have recently faced the very same problem. i own a md 703. module 394 is dead (bought it from new back un 1988). early this year I bought a new old stock casio with the module 394.,...the aim was to replace modules. it does not work that easy. You need not only the movement but to fix it to the body too. sorry. Obviously everything, or mostly, can be done.,...yet not that straight forward. kind regards
