got a reply from Higuchi, it'll be available from 23 Jan onwards. They do not take pre orders. No price mentioned as well.

Yodobashi will also be selling the watch from 23rd Jan and the price is already available. Get someone to get it from Yodobashi and if that someone can produce his or her passport they'll take the GST off it as well. Most economical way to get one.

It won't sell out so fast in the shops in Japan.
The release date is 23 Jan 2015.

Each shop will have 1-2 pcs. U might have to go to a few shops before finding it.
