Poison: Citizen Signature AQ3001-54A

Saw this at citizen boutique... Eco drive caliber A080 with accuracy +/-10s per year and perpetual calendar...superb fit and finishing though I feel the dial and hands are not up to GS level and case finishing isn't as complex too. But still a very beautiful and simple dress watch. The addition of a PR indicator is a useful addition compared to older Chronomaster equivalent?

Around $2400 after 20% discount...good buy? Should I hoot or should I hoot a GS Quartz??

That sounds kinda pricey. Got close up pictures? Need to see the finishing quality to justify the price though.

That was the only pic I could snap...the sales guy was giving me the if u don't buy then don't take pictures stare..
Found this pic on the net of a side by side with a GS..the finishing when I held it was impressive...from my real life try on of a GS SD diver SBGA029 previously, I would say the end link to case fit of the citizen is better and bracelet clasp is also sturdier compared to the GS diver.

A GS Quartz would be either cheaper at 2.2k and up but no perpetual calendar and battery powered..

2k plus for a dress Quartz? Buy it only if you really really really really really like it. Cos 2k plus opens up many many many doors for you. :)
