Orient 300m Saturation Diver (white)

Post by chriscentro » 08 Mar 2015 11:53

Hi guys

Just got the Orient OS300 2 days ago after pondering over a few other watches like the Prometheus Piranha, Armida A7 and the Helberg CH6 and 8. Finally, chose the OS300 for the white dial, nice bezel/insert, power reserve and most of all, I want round indices.

Just to add, Jamela of Big Time had provided great service.

It is big alright, having said that, I think my 6.5 inch wrist can (barely) carry it quite nicely (thanks to bro Hisokaka for letting me try his orange version earlier).
Jamela had the bracelet sized for me and but I didn't feel the tightness until I got home. My wrist had probably shrunk a bit while driving to Big Time with the air con blowing my hands?? Now I need to add another link but before I get to it, I pair it with a black leather strap for now.

Here are a few pics to share.

Thanks bros. If you think the MM300 is heavy, this one is even more so. There is a discernible difference in weight and size.

Built quality is ok. The MM has an edge in case finishing with nice contrast between polished and brushed surface.

It's the easiest watch to change bracelet due to the flat end link design of the lugs. And having that, there is very little gap between the case and the strap. It will not have the big gap "problem" associated with watches like the Sumo.

I think it has sapphire glass and although it's not dome it is beveled and create a nice shinny effect.

Swee, also like the white version.. If I'm not wrong it is using the same movement as their M-force series. So servicing should be affordable, as I ever regulate my m-force at K2.

Congrats, it is a stunner indeed. Add that to a black or brown leather strap, chio!
