The SCALLOP doesn't belong to me. It belongs to a HK owner who dropped accidentally on his home floor. I thought the shroud is ceramic wrap metal one? But it seems... totally ceramic to me... no sight of metal stuff underneath.

All these pictured are from the new sbdx014?
Defective or just many careless people? I do believe ceramic cracks are not uncommon. Any insights?

interesting...i previously read that the shroud was a stainless steel base with ceramic coating.
looks like its wholly ceramic, not surprised it cracked that way then.
